World Badminton Champion P.V. Sindhu pulled back from the Uber Cup, which is scheduled in Aarhus, Denmark. 

The prestigious Thomas and Uber is an international badminton championship, scheduled in October.

P.V.Sindhu’s father P.V. Ramana, on the 2nd of September said, “She will skip the Uber Cup because of personal reasons. As of now, she will send her entry for the next two tournaments and decide based on the situation.”

Speaking in detail, Mr. Ramana said, “We have some personal work in Hyderabad in the first week of October, wherein Sindhu’s presence is required and very essential. We have some pujas and all and her presence is very essential. This is the main reason behind pulling out.”

P.V. Sindhu would send her entry for the two Badminton World Federation (BWF) Super 750 Tour events scheduled in Odense, Denmark.

The other two tournaments are scheduled after the Thomas/Uber Cup competition in Denmark.

With the Thomas and Uber Cup, international badminton would be in action after a pause of long 7 months due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus worldwide.

The 2020 Thomas and Uber Cup is scheduled from the 3rd of October till the 11th of October.
