Indian skipper KL Rahul is to miss the upcoming England Tour, as he will be traveling to Germany for the treatment of his groin injury.

The development was confirmed by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah. On the 16th of June, Thursday, he said, “The board is working on his fitness and he will be going to Germany soon.”

According to sources, Mr. K.L. Rahul suffered a groin injury during training, following which he was ruled out of the five-match series. Furthermore, Mr. K.L. Rahul, who has been named as the Vice-Captain of the England squad, needs to be replaced by someone.  Notably, the England Squad is being led by Rohit Sharma, the new Test match, captain.

Notably, India is all set to travel to England for the Edgbaston series, which is scheduled to begin on the 1st of July and will have T20 Internationals, One Day Internationals, and Test marches.
