The 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to begin from the 19th of September.

The grand opening would be with the first match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK.)

While MI is four time champion of the IPL, CSK is three time winner.

The match would begin at 7:30 P.M. (Indian Standard Time (IST,) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

For cricket and Mahendra Singh Dhoni fans, it would be a treat as M.S. Dhoni would be appearing for the game. This is the first time we would see Mahendra Singh Dhoni play after his announced retirement from international and world cup cricket form.

This year there would not be any grand opening ceremony like every year. The decision was taken due to the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

In addition, the stadium would also be empty, restricting fans to come and see the match due to the social distancing guidelines.

All matches of Indian Premier League IPL 2020 would be telecasted on Star Sports 1 HD/SD, Star Sports 1 Hindi HD/SD channels. In addition, viewers could also watch live streaming of the IPL matches at OTT platform, Disney+Hotstar.
