Vyapam Scam: Trainee Sub Inspector of Police found dead in a lake

Yet another death related to Vyapam Scam. The list of deaths related to the scam is getting lengthier by the day. A name is now to be added to the ever growing list.

Going into the details, a Vyapam entrance selected 25 year-old woman trainee sub-inspector was found dead in the lake on Monday.

According to City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Gautam Solanki, the body of trainee sub-inspector, Anamika Sikarwar (25), was found in the lake adjacent to the Police Training Academy in Sagar district headquarters. Police are considering the incident to be suicide oriented.

Reports suggest that the deceased goes by the name of Anamika. She was married and a resident of Morena district. She got selected as sub-inspector in an exam conducted by Vyapam. However, the CSP said that her selection has nothing to do with Vyapam scam and she was not a suspected beneficiary.

She was found missing from her room and later her body was found in the lake. It is suspected to be a case of suicide, he said. Police rushed her immediately to the district hospital where doctors declared her brought dead.

Her room in the training academy was sealed by the police as they are considering it as an active crime scene. Inside sources tell us that, so far no suicide note was found. However Gautam Solanki, told the media that initial reports were inconclusive, and that the complete details will be known after the complete probe into the issue.
