Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, was discharged from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS,) on the 31st of August.

Amit Shah was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on the 18th of August for the post Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 recovery. 

Mr. Shah was diagnosed with the COVID-19 infection on the 2nd of August, following which he was admitted to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram.

However, a few days after being discharged from Medanta, Mr. Shah on the 18th of August, was admitted to AIIMS. 

Amit Shah reached his residence in the morning of the 31st of August and is absolutely fine. 

Recently AIIMS authority released a statement about the health of Mr. Shah and said, “Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, is admitted at AIIMS, New Delhi for post-COVID care. He has recovered and is likely to be discharged in a short time.”

Amit Shah is likely to join his duties, which he was performing through work from home (WFH.) 

Meanwhile, Parliament Monsoon session is also said to begin from the 10th of September.
