CHENNAI: Two young men allegedly killed a man in middle of the road with rocks. The dead man’s blood was flowing like water after the boys strike blow on him. Many of them witnessed the incident, but none among them came to rescue.
The victim, identified as Mahalingam, seen lying on the road attired in an orange lungi. Two pictures of the suspected armed the rocks led to their arrest in the Vellore district of Tamil Nadu, which is 200 kms far from the state capital of Chennai. The suspects are the sons of a man who owns an engineering college in the area, they are also reportedly part of a gang.
According to the reports, their uncle was killed by Mahalingam two years ago. The police describes the victim as a prominent local criminal, wanted in six murder cases, released on bail.
The incriminating photos were taken allegedly by associates of the two main murder suspects who wanted the moment captured as “a trophy”, said police sources.
