This man fails the 10th grade for 46th time

‘Try and Try till you reach your goal’. A statement that was spoon fed to you since the day you were born. You might have even got tired of hearing it, but this man gets never tired of implementing it as he is attempting to clear his 10th grade exam year after year for 46th time.

An 81-year-old man named Shiv Charan Yadav,was so determined to complete his matriculation, he attempted the exam 46 times so far. Unfortunately for him, he failed to clear the exams 46th time in a row.

Going into the details, this 81-year-old student sits for the boards every year under the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education and always fails to clear the exams.

But, there is hope for him after all, this time he got something good out of the examination. Compared to last year’s performance, where he failed in all subjects, this time Mr. Yadav passed Social Science, the only subject where he scored 34 marks out of 100. His marks in other subjects read: 3 in Hindi, 0 in English, 9 in Mathematics, and 7 in Sanskrit.

So you might be asking yourselves by now. ‘What drives Mr. Yadav to reappear for these exams year after year to appear for the exams?’ Here is your answer in his own words.

“Ab shaadi ka chance to hai nahi, isliye ab vishva record mein apna naam darj karane ke liye pariksha de raha hun (Now there is no hope of getting married, so I am attempting to make a world record),” confirmed this octogenarian from Alwar district in Rajasthan.

Despite the problem of Old age and inadequate ability to write this 81 year old young man is determined to do better next year.
