Ahead of the arrival of Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India,  the Telangana Police arranged three-tier security.

It is to be noted, that Mr. Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Hyderabad, to attend the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National Executive Committee meeting.  The meeting has been scheduled for the 2nd of July, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) Novotel.  Besides attending the National Executive meeting, PM Narendra Modi is also scheduled to address a public meeting at Parade Grounds on the 3rd of July.

Meanwhile, speaking of the three-tier security, the first tier would have the personnel of the armed forces, who will guard the venues where Mr. Narendra Modi would visit.  In addition, the second-tier security would have sleuths in civil clothes, across all the venues. Last and the third layer of the security would consist of personnel covering the outermost parts of the venues and roads and would be from the City’s police force.

Specialized police personnel from Quick Response Team (QRT), State Reserve Police Force (SRPF,) Combat Vehicles, and snippers would also be deployed at the specific locations around the venues.

Furthermore, senior officials from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and Special Protection Group (SPG) have already spoken with the Telangana Police, reviewing the security measures.  SPG is going to take a call on where Modi will reside either at Novotel Hotel or Raj Bhavan.
