Rahul Gandhi, the president of the Congress, criticised the opposition parties’ leaders of having the same agenda, while addressing a public rally in Telangana, on Monday.

Rahul Gandhi appealed to the people to not be fooled by voting for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) or the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM.) He added to this by saying, all of them are the same and ‘speak in twisted tongues.’

Rahul Gandhi took to Twitter to express his views about the same.

While the Congress joined hands with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) the Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) and the Communist Party of India (CPI,) the BJP and the TRS are competing as individual parties.

Apart from the Congress, the TRS and the BJP are also campaigning ahead of the Telangana Assembly elections, which are scheduled on the 7th of December.

The counting of the votes will take place on the 11th of December.
