Mr. M.K. Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu (TN) on the 18th of July, Monday, was discharged from the hospital, in Chennai.  Notably, Mr. M.K. Stalin was in the hospital, after he contracted the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19,) infection.

After being discharged from the hospital, Mr. M.K.Stalin, the President of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) cast a vote for the Presidential elections.  According to sources, Mr. M.K.Stalin was the first to cast his vote in the Secretariat complex at 10:00 A.M., when the polling for the Presidential election started.

It is to be noted that the ruling Tamil Nadu Government, the DMK announced to support the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) candidate Mr. Yashwant Sinha.  The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. M.K. Stalin, came straight to Fort St George campus after he was discharged from Kauvery Hospital.

Mr. M.K. Stalin was admitted to the hospital, on the 14th of July due to the COVID-19-related issue, and was discharged on the 18th of July, Monday.
