Indian skipper Ravindra Jadeja has been announced as No. 1 all rounder in International Cricket Championship Test Player Rankings 2022, on the 9th of March, Wednesday.

Ravindra Jadeja replaced Jason Holder, cricketer of the West Indies team, who has held the ICC Men’s Test Player number one ranking since February 2021.

It is to be noted, in the recent India v/s Sri Lanka Test series match, held in Mohali, Punjab, the Indian cricket team had a home win, with the epic performance of Ravindra Jadeja.  In the test series, Jadeja scored 175 not out and took a match haul of nine to help India to an innings victory.  In addition,  this is the second time that Ravindra Jadeja has reached the summit of the Test all rounder rankings and became the number one player on the ICC chart.

Previously in August 2017, Ravindra  Jadeja was number one in the ICC Chart.

Meanwhile former India captain Virat Kohli, who played his 100th Test recently, returned to the top five in Test rankings for batters and wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant entered the top 10 on the back of his swashbuckling 96-run knock in Mohali.

Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne remained the top-ranked batter in the world, and his rating of 936 has him at No.12 on the all-time list, with Ricky Ponting, Steve Smith and Don Bradman the only Aussies rated higher than the 27-year-old.

There were no major changes in the top ten of the men’s rankings for bowlers, and just one move in that number, with Neil Wagner and Josh Hazlewood swapping places at eighth and ninth respectively.
