In a shocking incident, a car driver on the phone dragged an on duty traffic police constable for almost a kilometer.

The incident reported on the 15th of April, Saturday, occurred in Punjab‘s Ludhiana.  In the CCTV Camera, a car was spotted, which dragged a constable on its bonnet for a kilometer while the driver was on a phone call.  As per the constable, he gave the signal to the car driver to stop, but the driver identified as Mukal Motu, tried to drive the car over him.  

The constable who suffered injuries is identified as Hardeep Singh, whereas the accused is identified as Mukal Motu, a resident of  Fatehgarh mohalla.  

The Chandigarh Police registered a case against the accused Motu and his friend Monu, for attempt to murder under the Indian Penal Code (IPC.)  In addition, the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Ramandeep Singh also mentioned that the two accused have criminal records against them.

The case is under investigation.
