Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi inaugurated the most awaited Bundelkhand Expressway, in Uttar Pradesh, on July 16, Saturday.

The launch of a 296 km four-lane expressway will be a major boost for the economic situation, connecting the industrial regions and enhancing development in the BJP-led State.

During the inauguration, PM Modi said, “fulfilling dreams of India’s youth is our goal and resolve, saying the BJP will focus on the growth of India’s roadmap.

Constructed for Rs 14,850 crores, the 296 km four-lane expressway is a major boost to the industrial development region connectivity and economic gains, in the BJP-led Uttar Pradesh.  Furthermore, The expressway originates in Bharatkoop in Chitrakoot and merges with Agra Lucknow expressway in Etawah. It reduces travel time to Delhi from Chitrakoot by 40%. One could reach Delhi in six hours against 10 hours earlier.

Notably, PM Modi laid foundation stone for the expressway in 2020, which has been completed in just 28 months.
