Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, addressed the UP Global Investors’ Summit 2023 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh (U.P.,) on Friday, the 10th of February.

The Investor’s Summit 2023 organised in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, would be a mega event for attracting huge investments for India and its states.  The event which started on the 10th of February, would be held till the 12th of February, Sunday.  During the two days event, a total of 34 sessions would be held with the participation of delegates from aross the world.

During his speech at the Summit, Mr. Narendra Modi invited delegates to the Investor’s Summit 2023.  Mr. Narendra Modi also praised the Uttar Pradesh Government for its development and growth in the past few years.   

Mr. Narendra Modi said, “Only a few years ago, Uttar Pradesh was known as a BIMARU state.  Nobody had any hope from the state.  But now Uttar Pradesh stands for good governance and development.”  He further added, under the leadership of Mr. Yogi Adityanath, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ruled State has five airports and a direct way to connect seas, across India.

Mr. Narendra Modi, who is also the representative of Uttar Pradesh State at the Investor’s Summit 2023, said, “India is reforming out of conviction, not out of compulsion.”

Meanwhile, speaking of investments, Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla committed Rs. 25,000 crores for investment in the state in various businesses like cement, metals, chemicals, financial services and renewable energy.  In addition, Mr. Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance, announced Rs. 75,000 crores investment in the state over the next four years.  The company also promised a complete 5G rollout in every village of Uttar Pradesh by December 2023.
