On the 7th of December, Tuesday, Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, announced Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas. During the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentary meeting, Mr. Narendra Modi announced the birth anniversary of the late Munda Tribe leader Birsa Munda as the National Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas. In November, the Central Government approved the declaration of Birsa Munda, a tribal leader’s birthday, as Janjatiya Diwas.

With this announcement, India will celebrate ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas,’ on the 15th of November, the birthday of Birsa Munda. For the announcement, the BJP leaders honored Mr. Narendra Modi. The event was held during the BJP Parliamentary meeting at Dr. Ambedkar International Center, New Delhi.

The Parliamentary meeting was attended by many BJP leaders, union ministers and other officials of the ruling Government. Mr. Amit Shah, Mr. Piyush Goyal, the BJP President Mr. Jagat Prakash Nadda and others were part of today’s meeting.
