Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi, inaugurated “launch of Azadi Ka Mahotsav se Swarnim Bharat ki Ore”, virtually, on the 20th of January.  Mr. Modi launched the initiatives dedicated to the last year’s ” Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” celebration to mark the 75 years of independence. PM Modi launched the year long dedicated initiatives under Brahma Kumaris, a spiritual movement.

Today, the 20th of January, Thursday, PM Modi kickstarted seven initiatives under Brahma Kumaris including, The seven initiatives of Brahma Kumaris launched by PM Modi are ‘My India Healthy India’; Aatmanirbhar Bharat: Self Reliant Farmers; Women: Flag Bearers of India; Power of Peace Bus Campaign; Andekha Bharat Cycle Rally; United India Motor Bike Campaign; and green initiatives under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.  Brahma Kumaris including 30 campaigns and more than 1,500 programmes and events.

During the virtual launch event, Mr. Narendra Modi said, “Today crores of Indias are putting the foundation stone of Swarnim Bharat. Our progress lies in the progress of the nation. The nation exists from us, and we exist from the nation. This realization is becoming the biggest strength of Indians in the making of a new India.”

Mr. Narendra Modi further said, “today we are creating a system in which there is no place for discrimination, We are building a society that stands firmly on the foundation of equality and social justice. We are witnessing the emergence of an India whose thinking and approach are innovative, and whose decisions are progressive.”

During the launch event, a song dedicates to Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by Grammy winner singer Ricky Jem was also released.

The celebration and launch, came days ahead of the 75th Republic Day, on the 26th of January.
