The Budget Parliament Session 2021-2022 is likely to pass 27 proposed bills.

The proposed bills were previously passed during the fourth session of the 17th Lok Sabha.

The bills would again be tabled in the Lower House today, the Lok Sabha.

On the 2nd of February, all the 27 bills and various Standing Committee reports would be discussed in the lower house.

During the Lok Sabha session at 4:00 P.M., Utpal Kumar Singh, the Lok Sabha Secretary General would table these 27 bills.

In addition, during the Lok Sabha proceedings, Mr. Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, the Indian National Congress (INC) leader of the House and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament (MP) Satya Pal Singh would present the reports of the Public Accounts Committee that includes 21st report on the ‘Implementation of Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006’. They would also present 22nd report on the action taken by the Central Government on the recommendations of the committee contained in their 110th report (16 Lok Sabha) on Examination of Accounts of ICAR, ‘Non Achievement of Stated Objective’ and ‘Blocking or Funds or Coconut Development Board.’

The mentioned reports on the bills would be discussed in today’s session.

Besides the aforementioned reports, the leaders would also present the 23rd Report on action taken by the Government on the recommendations of the committee contained in their 114th report (16 Lok Sabha) on ‘Design, Development, Manufacture and Induction of Light Combat Aircraft.’

All the reports submitted by the Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth, and Sports would also be a part of today’s session of the Lok Sabha.

According to sources, all the detailed reports were first presented in the Rajya Sabha to the Rajya Sabha Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu.

On the 24th of December 2020, these reports forwarded to Mr. Naidu as well as the Lok Sabha Secretariat Om Birla.

However, the house was not in motion back then, the matter would be discussed during the Lok Sabha session.

The Lok Sabha session of the ongoing Budget Parliament Session is scheduled to begin at 4:00 P.M., today, the 2nd of February.
