The Paranormal Society founder, Gaurav Tiwari who was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his house on July 8th had committed suicide, police said on Monday. Based on the preliminary autospy report, police said his death did not involve any foul play although it is yet to ascertain the reason behind Tiwari taking such an extreme step.
“The preliminary autopsy report confirms that he committed suicide. All his family members, including his parents and wife, were present in the Dwarka flat when he hanged himself using a piece of cloth,” a senior police official said.

Gaurav Tiwari’s father said, “My son was probing a case where a girl in west Delhi’s Janakpuri was apparently possessed. He had gone to meet the girl the night before his death. My son told his wife a negative force was pulling him towards itself and he was trying to control it. She ignored it thinking he was depressed due to workload.”

Earlier, Tiwari was part of TV shows Haunted Weekends with Sunny Leone and MTV’s Girl’s Night Out with VJ Ranvijay, Bhoot Aaya and Fear Files and has also seen movies 16 December and Tango Charlie.
