Vijayawada: Altogether 47% of the people in the state opined that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will improve the chances of winning of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena grand alliance.

‘Ennikala – Chitralahari’, a weekly election tracker survey conducted by Independent agency India Intentions revealed the public opinion about the grand alliance confirmed between TDP-BJP-JSP in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

India Intentions conducted a survey with a question “Being part of Grand Alliance, how does BJP Impact 2024 Andhra Pradesh General Elections.”

Around 6.5% of core YSRCP voters believed that BJP will help TDP-JSP defeat YSRCP. However, 9% of hard core TDP voters believe that BJP will not help TDP-JSP in defeating YSRCP.

Neutral voters were strongly in support of the alliance and 57% believe that BJP will help TDP-JSP defeat the Jagan’s government.

In total 44% believed that BJP will worsen chances or TDP-JSP alliance winning. Around 9% of the sample opined that the BJP doesn’t make any difference.
