Promoting Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to celebrate the 75th Independence Day, the Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modi changed his social media platforms DPs.

On the 2nd of August, Tuesday, Mr. Narendra Modi changed his Twitter, Facebook and Instagram profile pictures to the National Flag, and urged citizens to do the same.  The step would be to promote “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign, across India.

Taking to Instagram, Mr. Narendra Modi posted an Insta story, which read, “It is a special 2nd August today! At a time when we marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, our nation is all set for #HarGharTiranga, a collective movement to celebrate our Tricolour.  I have changed the DP on my social media pages and urge you all to do the same.”

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi In his monthly ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme on the 31st of July, Sunday promoted the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebration.

During his radio show, Mr. Narendra Modi said, the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is becoming a mass movement, with people participating in the initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Independence.  

Furthermore, he also suggested that citizens could put the Tricolour as their profile pictures on social media platforms from the 2nd of August to the 15th of August.  The Prime Minister noted that there is a growing interest in Ayurveda and Indian medicine around the world and Ayush exports have witnessed a record growth.

Notably, on the 15th of August, India would celebrate the 75th year of Independent India.  In regard to this, the Prime Minister of India launched the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration in India.
