Dawood Ibrahim’s brother Iqbal Kaskar has been put under 14-day judicial custody in money laundering case. On February 24, a special judge of PMLA Bombay Court, Mr. M.G. Despande announced the custody in connection with money laundering case linked to hawala deals and underworld property.

Notably, ED submitted the report after investigation, after which, Kaskar’s custody with ED ended. Since ED did not demand for his custody, Kaskar was remanded.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nawab Mallick, the National Congress Party and his brother Mr. Kaptan Mallick has also been alleged involvement in this money laundering case. The PLMA Special Court has also announced their custody to the ED, till the 3rd of March.
