New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi chief minister said on Saturday that repeated rape of minors in the national capital is “shameful and worrying”. Kejriwal visited the GTB hospital and met the five-year-old rape victim.
“Delhi police have completely failed to provide safety,” Kejriwal said in tweet after two minor girls were raped in the capital.
“What are the PM and his lieutenant governor are doing,” the Delhi CM asked in another tweet.
Kejriwal was accompanied by Delhi health minister Satyendra Jain.

Two minor children were gang raped in the capital on Friday evening.
In the first incident, a two-and-a-half-year-old girl was raped allegedly by two men who abducted her on a motorbike from outside her house in west Delhi’s Nangloi area on Friday. Neighbours found her lying unconscious at a nearby park bleeding profusely. According to reports, the child was kidnapped while she was watching the Ramlila.
In another incident, a five-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped by three neighbours in east Delhi’s Anand Vihar area last evening.
