New Delhi: A man was found hanging from a tree near Parliament on Thursday morning. The deceased has been identified as Ram Dayal Verma, who was a native of Shivpuri district in Madhya Pradesh. He was 39.
According to police, the body of the man was found hanging from a tree located between Rail Bhawan and the media parking centre near Vijay Chowk, close to Parliament. It is learnt that a 30 page suicide note has been recovered from his pocket and with the help of suicide note it seems that the man was steeped in betting debt.
The police said that an inquest has been launched. More details are awaited.
