Last week Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav had asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reply to the allegation of corruption made on him by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi. Mr. Modi had also been silent on the death of people due to the poor implementation of the Demonetization move. Mr. Modi’s silence raised questions for not setting the right example as a Prime Minister.

Much to our surprise, Prime Minister Modi tweeted birthday wishes to the Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. To this, Mr. Lalu questioned Prime Minister Modi for being silent on the death of 105 people while having the time to wish Mr. Nawaz Sharif on his birthday.

PM Modi wished Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif yesterday and prayed for his long life. Agitated by Modi’s tweet Mr. Lalu tweeted saying, “Please afford to say a few words to express your condolences to the families of the 105 people who died due to the ill-preparation of Demonetisation”. Later Misa Bharti, the member of parliament of Rajya Sabha and Mr. Lalu’s daughter also attacked Prime Minister Modi for wishing his counterpart Nawaz Sharif on twitter.

According to Mr. Lalu, India has only 4 percent of the black money in cash yet the Modi government has failed to eradicate black money post Demonetization. Many people passed away standing in queues for hours together to withdraw money from the ATM and Banks. Others lost their life for not getting medical aid on time. Demonetization has severely affected farmers, laborers, and poor of the Country and rendered 22 crore people jobless. The solution to avoid further trouble lies in the hands of PM Modi.

But will Mr. Modi answer the citizens for which they have been waiting for?
