K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) and T. Harish Rao, the Irrigation Minister of Telangana, will file nominations for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections around 2:30 P.M., today.

KCR will submit his nomination papers to the returning officer of the Gajwel constituency for the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections. On the other hand, T. Harish Rao will also file his nomination at the Revenue Divisional Office (RDO) in Siddipet.

Before submitting the nominations papers, both K. Chandrashekar Rao and T. Harish Rao will perform a puja at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple. The temple is situated in the Konaipally village, 12.5 kilometres from the Siddipet district of Telangana.

According to sources, KCR and T. Harish Rao reached the village around 11:00 A.M., for the puja.

As of now, a total of 87 nominations were filed by candidates from 34 constituencies, for the upcoming polls of the Telangana Assembly.

The Telangana Assembly elections are scheduled on the 7th of December and the results will be declared on the 11th of December.
