Chennai: AIADMK leader J Jayalalithaa has been sworn in as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu for second consecutive term at the Madras University Centenary Auditorium on Monday. She became Tamil Nadu’s chief minister for the sixth time. Last week, the AIADMK party won the assembly polls with a majority, defeating DMK party.

Twenty-six ministers also took oath with Ms Jayalalitha. If reports are to be believed, the Governor has approved a list of 29 ministers who will be the part of Jayalalithaa’s cabinet.
