On the 10th of October, two terrorists were killed in an encounter with the security forces of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources, the gunfight between the security forces and the terrorists broke out, after the police officials launched a search operation
On the night of the 9th of October, the security forces based on inputs about the presence of the terrorists launched the search operation and cordoned off Kulgam area, Jammu and Kashmir.
Soon after the search operation was launched, the terrorists opened fire, resulting in an encounter.
According to the Kashmir Zone Police,the two terrorists who were killed are yet to be identified.
In a tweet, Kashmir Zone Police said, “Kulgam Encounter Update: 2 unidentified terrorists killed. Operation in progress.”
