Two terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir.  

On the 10th of October, Monday, the Jammu and Kashmir police confirmed the updates and said the encounter broke out in Anantnag after the inputs were received that some militants are present in the region.  In addition, the security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Tangpawa area of the south Kashmir district late at night on the 9th of October.

The joint operation was conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and Jammu and Kashmir Security Forces.  The searches in the area are still underway and the encounter is also undergoing.
