On the 12th of February, Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) confirmed 54,407 new Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases.
Of the new cases, the highest number of cases were registered from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala.
In addition, the nation also registered 1,36,962 recoveries, and 804 deaths were also reported in 24 hours. The new Wuhan virus figures were confirmed by the Ministry of Health in India and are updated on the official website of the MoHFW.
With these new updates, India currently has 6,10,443 active Wuhan virus cases.
Notably, the current recovery rate in the country stands at 97.37%, the daily positivity rate at 3.48%, and the fatality rate is below 1.50%.
Moreover, as of now, the Indian Health Department confirmed to have administered 172.29 crore Wuhan virus vaccine doses to people across the country.
