The daily cases of the Wuhan virus are once again rising in India, raising alarming concerns for people and the concerned administration.  After reporting 14,000 cases on the 26th of July, India again registered over 18,000 new cases of the Wuhan virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19,).  With this, the active cases of the deadly virus stand at 1,45,026.

On the 27th of July, Wednesday, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) confirmed 18,313 new Wuhan virus cases, with 57 fatalities.  In addition, the Health Ministry also reported 20,742 recovered cases in the past 24 hours.  India saw a rise of over 4,000

daily Covid cases as COVID-19 infections rose to 1,45,026 active cases.

With the data revealed at 8:00 A.M., on Wednesday, India has 4,28,51,590 recovered/discharged cases, 1,45,026  active cases and 5,26,167 death cases, till date.

Furthermore, the active cases comprise 0.33% of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate is at 98.74% with a 1.20% fatality rate.

Concerned about the rise, many states called for mandatory mask wearing in public and urged people to abide by the Wuhan virus protocol.

Meanwhile, under the nationwide vaccination drive, India administered a total of over 202.79 crore vaccine doses.
