In India, the Wuhan Virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases are increasing rapidly.  

In the past 24 hours, the nation reported 1,805 new coronavirus cases, while the active cases have surpassed the 10,000 mark.  After 134 days, this is the first time the nation registered a hike in the Wuhan Virus, confirmed the Union Health Ministry.

According to the updated data released by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW,) the nation has daily positivity rate at 3.19%  and the weekly positivity rate at 1.39%.  Moreover, the fatality rate has been recorded at 1.19%.

The active cases have increased to 10,300 and the death count has increased to 5,30,837 with six deaths, one each reported by Chandigarh, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.   In addition, the number of people who have recuperated from the disease has increased to 4,41,64,815, said the Union Ministry data released on the 27th of March, Monday at 8:00 A.M.  

In addition, as per the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR)  220.65 crore doses of the Wuhan Virus vaccine have been administered so far under the nationwide Covid vaccination drive.
