The Indian Ministry for Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) confirmed 2,430 new cases of the Wuhan virus (COVID-19) Novel Coronavirus.

On the 15th of October, Saturday, India registered 2,430 new cases, 17 fatalities taking the respective tallies to 26,618 and 5,28,874.  Moreover, the recovery cases tally in India is currently at 4,40,70, 935.  The cases were registered after conducting 2,41,707 sample tests for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, confirmed the Indian Council of Medical Research.  With this, India till date conducted a total of 89,83,57,195 sample test for COVID-19.

Moreover, speaking of the Wuhan virus recovery, active cases and fatality rates, the active cases comprises 0.06%, the recovery rate has increased to 98.76%, the daily positivity rate was recorded at 1.01% and the fatality rate is at 1.19%.

In addition, the Union Ministry data also confirmed 219.27 crore doses of Wuhan virus administered to people, under the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive.
