The Indian National Congress (INC) led Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Delhi in the wee hours of the 24th of December.

Despite a warning from the Union Health Minister Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, the Rahul Gandhi led INC delegation of Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Delhi in a grand manner.  It is to be noted, Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, wrote to Mr. Rahul Gandhi to either follow the Wuhan Virus, also known as the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) protocols or dismiss the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

However, Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the former President of the INC did not act upon the letter and continued the yatra, by entering Delhi.   He hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtra Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and said, “They spread hatred, we spread love and embrace all Indians.  There is Hindustan and ‘Mohabbat’ (love) in this Bharat Jodo yatra, which does not see any caste, creed, religion, rich or poor and all embrace each other.”  He further added, “RSS/BJP’s all policies are to spread fear.  They want that everyone should have fear in them and they convert this ‘dar’ into ‘nafrat’ (fear into hatred.)  If there is no ‘dar’, it will not be converted into ‘nafrat’.  We say ‘daro mat.’  We spread Mohabbat.  We embrace all Indians (sic.)”

Furthermore, taking a dig at the letter sent to the INC by Mr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Mr. Rahul Gandhi said, “The BJP is taking out yatras in various states. But the Health Minister is sending letter only to us.”

The Rahul Gandhi led INC’s mega foot march from Haryana’s Faridabad entered the national capital Delhi.   Mr. Jairam Ramesh and Mr. Pawan Khera, senior leaders of the INC were seen marching early morning on the roads of Delhi after having a grand welcome from party cadres.

Started on the 7th of September, the Bharat Jodo Yatra is a nationwide walk led by Mr. Rahul Gandhi, to raise voice against the BJP Government’s misrule and Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India.  The Yatra which started from Tamil Nadu’s Kanyakumari and so far covered states like Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and now entered Delhi.
