On the 5th of February, Saturday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted a cyclonic circulation from the Himalayas to move east northeast today.

The cyclonic circulation would bring dense fog, rainfall, and severe cold weather to many parts of India. 

Rainfall, thunderstorm, lightning, and hailstorm are very likely over sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on Saturday.   On the other hand, northwest India is likely to experience 2° Celsius to 5° Celsius. 

In addition, West Uttar Pradesh regions are likely to experience cold to severe cold conditions in isolated pockets.

Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Delhi are likely to face cold day conditions in isolated areas.  Besides this, dense to very dense fog conditions are very likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and isolated regions of Uttar Pradesh.

Furthermore, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Bihar are also expected to experience dense fog in isolated regions.  In the northeast, thunderstorms with lightning over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are likely. 

Continuing the aforementioned weather forecast is expected to be till the 9th of February in most of the regions.
