Lucknow: A brave step by the government of Uttar Pradesh to cross the technological backwardness. The government recently announced its decision to provide free laptops for the students who passed 10 grade and Inter.
It doesn’t matter in which board you completed your respective qualification, you will get a laptop. The government official representative announced that a total of 39600 students from various boards of State, CBSE, ICSE will avail the facility.
Government to Provide free Laptops for 10th and Inter Students
The government took the decision in the meeting that took place under the guidance of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
The distribution will be done in the order of their results in their various boards. 21 percent of Laptops will be given to SC and ST. Another 20 percent will be provided to the minorities.
Government of Uttar Pradesh promised Laptops and Tablets in their 2012 manifesto. So far 15 lakh laptops were distributed but still there is no trace of the Tabs.
