Sushil Kumar Mishra an advocate filed a complaint against the Google CEO and the company’s head in India in the additional district judge for listing PM Narendra Modi among top 10 criminals in the world. Advocate alleged that an image of PM Modi appears when someone googles for ‘top 10 criminals of the world’. He also claimed that he wrote a letter to Google requesting them to take down the image, but never received any response from the company.
The court was hearing a complaint filed by advocate Sushil Kumar Mishra. The next hearing on the case will be on August 31. Gupta also claimed he had approached the police regarding the matter. After which he moved an application before the chief judicial magistrate but his request was dismissed on November 3, 2015.
Gupta challenged CJM’s order by filing a revision application in court which allowed the revision application and passed the order.
