Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant expanded his Cabinet for the first time after winning the 2022 Goa Assembly elections, on the 9th of April.

The new Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) inducted in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led Goa Cabinet are; Mr. Ramakrishna alias Sudhin Dhavalikar, Mr. Subhash Phal Dessai and Mr. Nikanth Halarnkar.  The Goa Governor Mr. P.S. Sridharan Pillai administered the oath of office to the new ministers at Durbar Hall, in Dona Paula, Goa.

After taking over as the Chief Minister of Goa, this is the first time Mr. Pramod Sawant has expanded his Cabinet, on the 9th of April.  It is to be noted, on the 28th of  March, Mr. Pramod Sawant took oath as the Chief Minister of Goa.  On the same day, eight of his inducted Cabinet ministers administered the oath of the office by the Goa Governor, during an event.

In today’s event also, BJP MLAs, National Leaders and other officials were present.

With the new ministers taking oath today, the Goa Cabinet has a total of 11 Cabinet ministers, till the 9th of April.

It is to be noted, in the recently held 2022 Goa Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party won the elections with approximately 20 seats.
