Mr. Manish Sisodia, the former Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, would continue to be in the remand with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI.)

On the 31st of March, the Delhi High Court rejected a bail plea filed by Mr. Manish Sisodia in the controversial Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. 

According to sources, the Special Rouse Court of Delhi single bench judge MK Nagpal passed the orders and rejected the plea.   Notably, the CBI had arrested Sisodia on February 26 in connection with its probe into alleged corruption in the formulation and implementation of the now scrapped liquor policy for 2021-2022.  Besides the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also investigating Mr. Manish Sisodia in the matter as he is the prime accused.

Meanwhile, an investigation into the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam is underway.
