The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP,) on the 4th of February, released its manifesto for the forthcoming Delhi Assembly elections.

Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, during an event, unveiled the Party manifesto, which includes 24 hour markets and 28 other promises.

The other major promises made by Delhi’s ruling Party includAam Aadmi Partye the provision of clean water and 24 hour electricity supply.

During a press conference, Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, said, ““AAP’s vision is to enable every common man to live with dignity and prosperity.”

Manish Sisodia released the ‘28 point guarantee card’ manifesto.  In the manifesto, the Party promises to deliver ration at the citizens’ doorsteps and to provide free pilgrimage services to approximately 10 lakh senior citizens.  The manifesto also promises to provide a compensation of Rs. 1 crore to the family members of Government safai karamcharis in Delhi if the karamchari dies on duty.

The  manifesto of the AAP came just a few days after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its manifesto for the Delhi Assembly elections.  AAP leaders like Gopal Rai, Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, Jasmine Shah and Dr. Ajoy Kumar were present at the event where the AAP’s manifesto was released.

The Delhi Assembly elections are scheduled to be held on the 8th of February, 2020.  The results of the elections would be announced on the 11th of February.

The major parties contesting the Delhi Assembly elections are the AAP, the Indian National Congress (INC) and the BJP.
