New Delhi: The Communist Party of India said on Monday that it will raise the issue of continues attacks on JNU students’ Union President Kanhaiya Kumar in the second phase of the Parliament session which is scheduled today.
Communist Party of India(CPI) Leader, D. Raja said, “we will raise the issue of repeatedly attacks on the JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar. Where ever he goes, the lynching mob is there to attack him. The Home Minister and the government will have to react how the ultra-right wing forces are allowed to play havoc in our society. ”

Kanhaiya claims that a BJP supporter tried to strangle him inside a Jet Airways aircraft in Mumbai, following which he was asked to deplane after he complained about the assault. On the same day, a member of Bajrang Dal attacked Kanhaiya’s car when he arrived in the city.
Earlier, slippers, shoes were hurled at Kanhaiya in Nagpur where he was addressing a public meeting on the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar.
