In breaking news, the Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested 5 suspected terrorists, who were planning an explosion in Bengaluru.

On the 18th of July, Wednesday, the CCB arrested five people identified as Syed Suhel, Umar, Janid, Mudasir and Zahid.  It is suspected that the team had planned to carry out a blast in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Furthermore, all the five had a criminal record and were accused in a 2017 murder case.  They were lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Jail where they came in contact with the terrorists and got involved in this.

Furthermore, CCB has also seized explosive materials, the team confirmed in a statement. Speaking about the material, the CCB recovered walkie talkies, 7 country made pistols, 42 live bullets, 2 daggers, 2 satellite phones and 4 grenades.
