UP Polls result:

 

BJP leads with 319 seats and secures a win in Uttar Pradesh. Samajwadi Party and Congress alliance won 54 seats while BSP led by Mayawati acquired only 19 despite being considered the dark horse of the race. While senior Congress leaders talk of improvement and introspection, the Samajwadi Party leaders were absent from the scene and have no comment about the election results.

Punjab Poll Result:

 

Indian National Congress witnessed a majority win in 75 constituencies. AAP secured 22 seats whereas Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)’s alliance with BJP won 18 seats. Amit Shah of BJP accepted the defeat in Punjab gracefully and thanked the PM for his support.

Uttarakhand Poll Result:

 

BJP again leads in Uttarakhand with 54 seats and Congress secured 11 seats. The majority of BJP in UP and Uttarakhand showed that the states were unaffected by PM’s Demonetisation move and that they accepted the change with open arms.

Goa Poll Result:

The Congress party and BJP had a neck to neck competition, where in Congress won the Assembly elections with a 2 seat majority. Congress won total 15 seats, BJP won 13 seats and AAP failed to secure even one seat in the state.

Manipur Poll Result:

Manipur was again taken by Congress even with a heavy competition from BJP. INC won 24 seats in the state whereas BJP won 21. All the other parties won 12 seats and PRJA- People’s Resurgence Justice and Alliance failed to take even a single seat.
