Mr. Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood Badshah Mr. Shah Rukh Khan got a clean chit in the Mumbai drugs on cruise case.

On the 27th of May, Friday, the National Control Bureau (NCB) gave a clean chit to Aryan Khan, who was arrested in 2021 and was named for consuming drugs.  Besides Mr. Aryan Khan, 19 other accused were arrested in the Mumbai drug case.

According to the NCB report, all the arrested accused except two are out of jail.  In addition, the NCB also mentioned that Mr. Aryan Khan and Mr. Mohak were not in drug possession and were given relief from the case.  Furthermore, clearing the name of Mr. Aryan Khan in the matter, the NCB filed a charge sheet and submitted a report before the special NDCP Court on Friday.

Later, the NCB released a statement, “Based on an input, NCB Mumbai had on October 2, 2021 intercepted Vikrant, Ishmeet, Arbaaz, Aryan and Gomit at International Port Terminal, Mumbai Port Trust, and Nupur, Mohak and Munmum at the Cordelia Cruise.  All the accused persons were found in possession of narcotics except Aryan and Mohak.”  It further added, “Initially, the case was investigated by NCB Mumbai.  Later, an SIT from NCB headquarters in New Delhi headed by Sanjay Kumar Singh, DDG (Operations), was constituted to investigate the case, which was taken over by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on November 11, 2021.”

On the 3rd of October, Aryan Khan, 23 years old, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau officials for his involvement in a drugs related case.  Aryan Khan was arrested with seven others during a raid at a cruise party, where drugs were available and consumed.  The raid started at 10 A.M., on Sunday night and continued till 2:00 P.M.  After the intensified search, the anti drug agency found Aryan Khan was involved.  Initially, Aryan Khan and others were under the NCB custody, but on the 7th of October, all the accused were remanded to judicial custody.  After a month, he was given bail by the Bombay HC with certain bail conditions. 

Aryan Khan has been booked under Sections 27 (punishment for consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance), 8C (produce, manufacture, possess, sell or purchase of drugs) and other relevant provisions of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS.) 

With this submission of the charge sheet, Mr. Aryan Khan finally gets a clean chit in the matter and all the sections were dropped against him.
