Devendra Fadnavis, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, on the 23rd of October, took to Twitter and shared pictures of his visit to Kedarnath.

Mr. Fadnavis’ visit comes two days after the Maharashtra Assembly polls.  On the 21st of October, Maharashtra conducted its Assembly elections for 288 Assembly seats.  The major parties which contested the elections were the Indian National Congress (INC,) the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) the Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP.)

After the Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra travelled to Kedarnath in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh.

 Devendra Fadnavis posted pictures of Kedarnath with the caption reading, “Took darshan & blessings at Kedarnath temple, this morning. Har Har Mahadev!”

Devendra Fadnavis left for Kedarnath with his wife Amruta Fadnavis and his family.
