The Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had a huge victory in the Punjab Assembly 2022 Assembly elections, on the 10th of March.  After the victory, now the Delhi Chief Minister Mr. Arvind Kejriwal is eying to hold position in Gujarat.

Notably, the Gujarat Assembly polls are due this year, and the Aam Aadmi Party Government is aiming to contest the Gujarat Assembly polls, which is said to be a strong hold zone of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)  After winning the Delhi Assembly elections and now the Punjab Assembly elections, the President of the AAP Mr. Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter and said, “After Delhi and Punjab, now Gujarat wants AAP.”

Furthermore, the Arvind Kejriwal also announced to conduct a “Tiranga Yatra’ in Gujarat, which would cover tehsils and panchayats of Gujarat.  In addition, in the coming days, the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the Punjab Chief Minister face Mr. Bhagwant Mann would visit Gujarat.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also on a two day visit to Gujarat, during which he would launch various development projects and would also hold meetings. The visit of Mr. Narendra Modi came ahead of yet to be announced Gujarat Assembly polls, due this year.
