US Fighter Jet Shot Down Unidentified Object Flying Over Alaska

On the 11th of February, Saturday, the United States of America (U.S.A.,) Administration confirmed to shot down of another unidentified object, flying over Alaska.

The U.S. fighter jet shot down an unidentified object drifting high over Alaska on Friday, the 10th of February.  

Mr. John Kirby, the White House Security Council Spokesperson said, “The president ordered the military to down the object.”  He further said, the purpose of the object, flying 40,000 feet above Alaska is yet to be known.  The incident which occurred just six days after the United States Government shot down a spy balloon, from China, raised alarming concern.

Mr. John Kirby said, although the object has been shot down, it is a threat to the Civil Aviation of the nation.  Furthermore, Mr. Kirby said the object was much smaller than a huge Chinese balloon that crossed the United States last week at the Atlantic coast. 

Meanwhile, speaking of the fighter jet, which was used to shot down the object was 

Pentagon spokesman Brigadier General Pat Ryder said an F-22 Raptor used an AIM-9X missile to bring down the object.

Furthermore, due to the ongoing issue and constant objects flying over the U.S., regions. Mr. Joe Biden, the President of the U.S.A., cancelled his Beijing trip.  In addition, the issue has also created a fresh political rift between the United States Government and the Chinese Government, raising security concerns.
