The account was apparently hacked in the early hours of Saturday and the hackers posted a tweet from SpaceX.

It is to be noted, the Twitter account hack report came after the recent clash with Ms. Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal.  Notably, the West Bengal Chief Minister alleged that the previous government of Andhra Pradesh, the TDP, purchased spyware from Pegasus.

However, Mr. Nara Lokesh denied these allegations and said, spyware were offered, but the Nara Chandrababu Government refused to sell Pegasus spyware in the State.  He also said, “She (Ms. Mamata Banerjee) was misinformed.  If we had resorted to such things, Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy would not have come to power in 2019.”

Meanwhile, the TDP account is yet to recover.
