Madhya Pradesh Man Arrested After His Video Of Urinating On Tribal Man Goes Viral

The Madhya Pradesh police arrested Pravesh Shukla, a worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) after his viral video of peeing on a tribal man.

Arrested at 2:00 A.M., Pravesh Shukla has been booked under the National Security Act, the Scheduled Tribe/ Scheduled Caste Atrocities Act and other relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC.)

Shared widely on Twitter, Pravesh Shukla was seen urinating on a tribal man while smoking a cigarette.  The video went viral, gaining criticism from netizens and opposition including the Indian National Congress (INC.)  

Reacting to the criticism, Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, said, “A viral video of Sidhi district has come to my notice. I have instructed the administration to arrest the culprit and take strict action and also impose NSA (National Security Act.)”

Meanwhile, the BJP also denied the connection of the man with the BJP.
