Kashmiri Pandit Shot Dead By Terrorists In Jammu And Kashmir

On the 31st of May, Tuesday, the Jammu and Kashmir police confirmed the death of a Kashmiri Pandit teacher.

Notably, terrorists shot a Kashmiri Pandit teacher identified as Ms. Rajni Bala, a 36-year-old, in the Gopalpora area of Kulgam district.  The killing was in the view of her recent posting as a teacher in the Kulgam district.

As per the Jammu and Kashmir Police, the victim sustained injuries when terrorists fired at her.  She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared her brought dead.

Meanwhile, with the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit teacher, the Jammu and Kashmir police and security forces, cordoned off the area and launched a manhunt to nab the militants involved.

It is to be noted, that in the past month, the militants targeted civilians and officials in the region.

Furthermore, this is the second death of the Kashmiri pandit in the region.  Recently a Kashmiri Pandit identified as Rahul Bhatt was also gunned down by the militants in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
