The Indian National Congress (INC) is leading in the counting of votes for the Karnataka Assembly Elections.

As per the early countings and exit polls, the INC is likely to form the Karnataka Government in the State.   Notably, of the 224 seats, the Indian National Congress is leading in 117 seats.  The BJP, on the other hand, is ahead in 75 seats.  The JD(S) is ahead in 27 seats, confirmed the trends.  The voting for 224 seats in Karnataka was conducted on the 10th of May, in which the INC and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Janata Dal (United) are in the fray.

Notably, to form a government, a party needs a majority of 113 seats.

Meanwhile, the final results of the Karnataka Assembly would be out by the end of the day, after rounds of voting.
